Eligibility Requirements for China Link Scholarship Program 2024
To be considered for the China Link Scholarship Program 2024, you must:
- Be a citizen of a country other than the People’s Republic of China, good moral character and academic excellence, be in good health, both mentally and physically.
- Be under 45 years of age when applying for general scholars.
- Be under 50 years of age when applying for senior scholars.
- Be registered as a full-time student or employed as a full-time academic staff at CSC’s foreign partner universities at the time of application and throughout their proposed stay in China.
- Have received either the admission notice or the invitation letter issued by the Chinese host university.
Benefits of China Link Scholarship Program
Successful applicants will receive a full scholarship from CSC during their stay in China, including a tuition waiver, free on-campus accommodation, comprehensive medical insurance and monthly stipend (CNY 3,000 for general scholars; CNY 3,500 for senior scholars).

To apply for the China Link Scholarship Program, interested and qualified candidates should follow the procedures below;
- Applicants should contact the Chinese host university to obtain admission documents or invitations.
- Applicants should log into the Chinese Government Scholarship Information System (https://studyinchina.csc.edu.cn/#/login) to complete CSC online application and upload supporting documents.
- Application will be processed by Chinese host universities.
- Deadlines for Chinese host universities to nominate scholarship candidates to CSC are April 15, 2024; July 15, 2024; October 15, 2024; and January 15, 2025, occurring four times for this call.
